Enviroserve Rwanda Green Park (ERGP) is a private company dedicated to electronic and electrical waste recycling, green growth, and the circular economy. As a subsidiary of Enviroserve Dubai, an ISO, OSHA certified company with over 20 years of experience in operating the world’s largest electronic and specialized recycling facility, Enviroserve is pioneering e-waste management in East Africa and operates the region’s state-of-the-art e-waste dismantling and recycling facility.

Enviroserve Rwanda Green Park seeks to recruit a qualified candidate to develop and execute the company’s partnership and communication strategy. 

 

Job Description

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities

 

Develop and maintain Enviroserve partners, stakeholders and other relevant parties

Manage relationship with key partners, and establish process and systems for effective partnership management

Maintain excellent relationship with key partners through regular communications and meaningful engagements

Develop and provide opportunities for increased partner involvement

Support new resource mobilization initiatives which include private or public investments 

Design and review projects, concept notes and proposals to potential funders

Preparing, planning and managing publicity strategies and marketing campaigns to maximize the company’s brand and promotional activities

Writing and producing presentations 

Dealing with inquiries from the public, the press, and related organizations

Organizing and representing the company at promotional events such as press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours, and visits

Creating and developing new innovative ways to communicate the company’s message to the customers

Develop and implement coordinated social media strategy and align messaging, content and key messages and media activities

Strengthen engagement with stakeholders and drive website traffic from social media including but not limited to: Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram and any other appropriate media platforms

Contribute to the creation of marketing and resource mobilization materials, brochures & publications

Speaking publicly at media interviews, press conferences, meetings and presentations

Providing clients with information about new promotional opportunities and current service modalities

Ensuring a strong and positive presence of the company on social media and other marketing channels 

Preparing, reviewing and approving media reports, press releases, articles, market research, etc.

Documenting the lessons learnt on different projects and writing articles and press releases to local and international press

Overseeing all internal and external communications and ensuring consistency in messaging 

– Planning and managing marketing events and evaluating their success

Evaluating the effectiveness of all marketing activities

Plan and execute day-to-day marketing activities

Planning, developing and delivering campaigns as agreed within timescales

Engaging and managing external contractors and suppliers relevant to communications to produce content for the company (e.g. promotional materials, videography and photography)

Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications and Training Required

 

A bachelor’s degree in any of these fields: Communication, Public Relations, International Relations. A relevant Master’s Degree is highly preferred.

At least five years of relevant working experience in reputable public or private institution 

Excellent communication skills 

Fluency in Kinyarwanda and English, French preferred

Excellent writing skills

Extensive experience in the use of social media and analytic tools

Experience with computer and software tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, Google suite, multimedia applications, etc.

Knowledge of graphic and web design and CMS management

Ability to convey ideas in a clear and precise way

Essential skills for working in media organizations, such as excellent written and spoken communication skills, critical thinking, an ethical and responsible attitude, and technical skills

Demonstrate good knowledge of online communication tools and platforms and applies it in work

A collaborative attitude

Ability to learn new technologies quickly

The ability to plan and strategize at a senior level

Strong organizational and time management skills

Motivation and ability to work independently

A persuasive and confident approach to creative projects

Excellent command of written and spoken Kinyarwanda and English

Proficiency in French is an added advantage
